At the beginning of last year (how weird is that!), I made up a little list of resolutions I had for 2007.

1. Have sex with more women Check!
2. Get my nose pierced Check!
3. Get a 3rd tattoo? No check- need money first.
4. Get tied up (and not hands behind my back tied up, but tied up, tied up) Lots of checks!
5. Be dommed by a woman Check!
6. Have some fun sex in France! Didn’t go to France, but have added on Maryland, Virginia, and DC to my states I’ve had sex in.
7. Be a better painter Debatable- have switched to photography now though.
8. Reduce my debt Er, no.
9. Start exercising again and get back to running 5 miles Started it, but lost it in the spring.
10. Get back to my high school weight Definitely not.

4 definite resolutions checked off for 2007, not too shabby!

What should my resolutions for 2008 be?  What do I want this year?  I already have so much on my plate- it’s my last year of school, I have so many events I’m planning on going to (Winterfire, Shibaricon, Floating World, and Camp).  I have all these amazing friends I made this year that I’m going to be so busy with.  And lord knows I’ll just end up making more friends at all these events.

I know I need to earn some money.  I have a certain lifestyle I’m growing accustomed to (that’s fun to say!) that I intend to maintain.  Plus, I’m graduating at the end of the year (assuming all goes as planned) and I’d like to be able to move out on my own in a timely fashion.

This winter I’d really like to be able to ski a few times at least, so I’m going to make an effort to do that.  (But, that of course does require money, so we’ll see…)

I aim to improve my rope tying skills (hence Shibaricon).

I’d like to take lots of photos and sell a whole bunch too!

I’ve been feeling quite submissive these days, so I’d be ultra pleased if I could act that out with a little more frequency.  And I’d be doubly pleased if I were able to find someone to enter in a D/s relationship with.

And I think I’d like to love with more abandon.

Anyone care to share their plans for this year?

I’m not excited about ending 2007, but rather to see where it leads in 2008!  (Though, let’s just say I’m still iffy about the whole holiday.)

I’m ringing in the new year in DC at a Dark Odyssey play party with lots of camp friends!

I’ll be a little while before you hear me complaining about not having enough to eat.  I’ve been eating non-stop for days since I got home Friday.  It started with Ham and Mac and Cheese Friday night and then the left-overs Saturday night.

Sunday family came so we had our first Christmas dinner- appetizer, soup, roast beef, sides and desserts.

Christmas Eve dinner I discovered the wonders of Prime Rib and made my way through 2 pieces.  More desserts.

Christmas Day dinner was an Italian dinner so lasagna, more ham, sides and I barely managed to eat a small cookie for dessert.

Tonight was simple with just me and mom getting some pizza.

Holidays were pretty good.  I was in a funky PMS mood, but managed to push through it each day.  I made out pretty good present wise, especially considering I had already gotten my computer.  But I got cash, gift cards (even one to the supermarket!), clothes, undies, body washes!

Saturday and Monday I took some pictures round the country side and I’m excited to go develop them this week.  I’m actually going back to one spot tomorrow to quickly get a roll of something in color, because I think it deserves it.  Monday I fell though when I was taking pictures.  :(  I was only across the street, but I was in a field and the snow had turned to ice and I was oh so careful but one false step and I slipped and fell knee first on to the ice, breaking through and soaking my pants in cold, dirty water.  But my camera was fine!

Of course now my knees are all bruised and my entire right leg is sore.

But I went to the chiropractor today which was nice.  My mom goes there and they’re nice.  I got a little adjustment and then got some TENS on my lower back and got a super nice all over back massage.

(And I gotta say, after getting a professional massage, I really think Jefferson’s massages aren’t half bad!  If anything it was more relaxing having a naked man doing it, hehe.  I might have to just start making weekly appointments with him purely for a back massage…)

My parents leave tomorrow for a long weekend in Prague, so I’m heading back to my dorm to stay out of the way of our dog sitter who I’m just not in the mood to socialize with.  No big deal, I’ll have a few days to work in the dark room before heading down to DC for New Year’s.  So then hopefully I do some good work this weekend and scan some new work in next week and I can start the sales!

Just writing a quick note before dessert…

Hope everyone’s having a good holiday and they got everything on their wish list, ’cause I did! Woohoo!!

Last night, I had left a note on the kitchen table just saying my sweet potatoes were gone to tell my mom since she would be up before me.

And I had fully intended on making another batch, or at least a half batch today when I got up.

But I found she already made it for me!!

I have the best mommy ever!!

After digesting my meal from this afternoon, I was in the mood for a taste of my yummy sweet potatoes…but found them gone!!

I think my aunt and uncle took it by accident!!

I’m very upset. Very, very!!

I may just make another batch tomorrow.

Yeah, it’s that good.
