Attention NJ/NYC area readers!

Dear beloved blog readers:

I’m hoping some of you out there can help me with a photo project I want to do this semester.

I want to shoot couples (and plurals) of all varying mixtures.  I have a few friends I’m going to proposition, but I want to get at least 6 couples (or groups), but  I’d be much happier with 8, and ecstatic with 10.  I have ads up on CL, but I’m not sure how good of a response I’ll get there.  So I’ll use this as my ad space too right now.

I basically want to capture my world (my sex positive and amazingly diverse world) and put it on display so others can see how beautiful it is.  Large aspirations, I know.  Well, I’ll just start with capturing it at least.  So with that said I basically want to shoot people all over the sexuality spectrum, gender spectrum, and kink spectrum.  Lesbians (femmes, butches, bois, etc), gay men (twinks, bears, etc (there are so many descriptions and I only know a few)), genderqueers, poly groups, masters and slaves, tops and bottoms, older men with younger girls, older women with younger guys, older couples, younger couples, and any other combinations I can’t think of.

I also want to do a spectrum of shoots from insightful portraits to full on naked, sex, erotic shots (bordering the line of porn I suppose).   I’ll probably work in both digital and film.  I’m still deciding on that.

I’m looking to plan shoots through out the semester (unitl the end of November, early December), but I want to start finding interested people now!

Whatever I shoot is going to be used just for class and potentially my portfolio.  Nothing commercial, no porn sites (I’m not shooting porn as it is).   We’ll do the whole model release thing.  And in the end, you’ll get a copy of the photos!

So if you’re reading this and you’re in the North/Central Jersey/NYC/Southern NY State area and either you’re personally interested or know someone who might be, please please please contact me at avahsascent AT gmail [dot] com.  Feel free to post this or forward this to interested newsgroups, interested parties, or the like.

If you’re responding please include a paragraph or so about you (you as in the people I would be shooting), your general location, general schedule of availability, and levels of comfort regarding nudity and/or sexual explicitness (ie: topless fine, pink not so fine.  Or making out naked fine, full on penetration not so fine, etc).  Also please include clear photos of anyone participating.  Face shots will do, full body is appreciated.  Clothed is just fine.

6-8 Weeks

I just bought my first single tail- a snake whip from Victor Tella. It’s a 4′ 12-plait whip and I ordered it in brown and red.

I’m so excited! I just wish I didn’t have to wait so long! But I chose this whip maker since I could make it more customized which I’ll be happier for in the long run.

Desire already volunteered to let me practice on her! Maybe with a little bit of luck and wishing, I could have it by her birthday in early May (the cusp of 6 weeks away)!

Oh man I can’t wait to start practicing!!

This is Me Being Lazy

So I was all geared up to write stuff- but now the juice is gone.

My session went really well Wednesday.  I talked forever with her- getting a lot of the preliminary stuff out of the way.  She must have taken like 5 pages of notes.  We had a pretty good rapport, so it was definitely good.  Also, I gave her the blog address to help give her some insight into things.  That should be interesting!  Lol.

Had coffee with Jefferson before hand and that was really good.  We both said stuff that needed to be said and it helped clear the way to move forward.

This is short as I just made plans 10 seconds ago to go out tonight- so away to the shower for me!

So I just made an appointment with a new therapist from the KAP list that someone recommended.

My appointment’s Wednesday afternoon in the city.

It’s just a consultation type visit to see if we’re a good match.  She seemed nice on the phone, so I hope so.

And I just really hope I can be open for this.  I really hate therapy.  But I really need an objective person who can help me with some stuff and give some fresh eyes on everything.  That and I’ve just exhausted the helpfulness of my friends.  I’ve gotten as much as I can get from them.

I’m a little tired so I’m not writing much yet on why I want to see the therapist.  I’m also trying to find the balance between being honest and open and not airing dirty laundry.  So I’m erring on the side of caution for the moment.

Ok, wish me luck and I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes.

Almost Time!

So I’m chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool at Desire’s place while she’s off at work for the moment. (I know, work on Good Friday?? I’m a Jew and I understand the dumbness of that!)

I was up early yesterday and then to bed early and up early again today. I already managed a nice hot shower and some snuggles with the cat. I figure I’ll do my hair at some point and eat my leftovers from last night before heading over to the hotel. It’s nice only being 15 minutes away instead of 4 hours…

Can I talk for a minute about my morning yesterday? It was a rotten, awful morning. First I woke up at 7am because my roommate’s new boyfriend was leaving and I woke up, but I was less cranky about it than usual for some reason. I dunno. That wasn’t the bad part though. The bad part came when I looked in the mirror a little while later and saw my eye was pink. Wait- extra crusties that morning and a hot gooey feeling in my eye? D’oh! Pink eye!

I was annoyed to say the least. Pink eye the day before Winter Fire! Luckily I woke up so early because I was able to hop over to the school health center and get some antibiotic eye drops!

Then shortly after that I got into a nasty tete-a-tete (I wish I knew how to do accents on a Mac- too lazy to find out) with someone that left a nasty taste in my mouth. It was really quite…traumatizing. Let’s just say, it’s the next day (at only 11am) and I really wish I was wasted. Or high. Maybe both.

Because it was the last thing I needed before Winter Fire (as my head has just barely been in the weekend) so the only way to really get on quite quickly was to numb myself to it. It’s the only way I’m able to function (read: leave my bed).

I’m also thinking that maybe there isn’t a Beatles song for everything.
