Some Thoughts
You know, I reserve the right to bring my blog out retirement anytime I want.
Now isn’t that time, but I hold out hope I will one day enjoy writing again.
Two thoughts occurred to me this weekend at Floating World:
After an amazing first night with great, new experiences, I immediately thought, “Damn, it’s too bad I don’t blog anymore.”
But by the end of the weekend where amazing thing after amazing thing stacked on top of each other I was happy to not be burdened with having to write it all down. I could just simply enjoy it.
I’ll be writing it down though, in my private journal (and I should do that soon before I forget) so I can remember all the wonderful things I did and the various emotions I felt over the weekend.
Publicly though I’d like to say it was a pleasure meeting everyone and I’m so happy to have left with such wonderful memories and lots of new friends!

I still do not think you should “retire” this blog. Writing and sharing experience (s) is what makes the world go ’round, so to speak. If you fail to write as frequently, so be it. But to stop writing altogether? That would be a sad, sad day indeed.

I hear ya, Cody. But writing just got to be a chore for me and I’m afraid if I push back into it too soon, I’ll hate it even more. And that would be sad too.

Unfortunately, yes, that’s true. Ah, well. I’ll try to make up for it
